“"My step mom lives at this facility, after she transferred from another one. This facility is much better, I am very glad we've made the switch. The personnel is truly caring, the facility is clean, the food is decent, and there are a lot of activities every day. They have a large gorgeous yard to spend time outdoors." ”
“My elderly father stayed here several weeks while recovering from a near-death medical emergency. The staff are excellent and cared about my father's emotional and physical well being. The food was tasty, he really liked it, and very healthy even for his diabetic diet. The building is older, but don't let that fool you. My father stayed at a fancier-looking rehab a few years ago just a couple miles away. But he told me several times he preferred his stay in Granada Hills Care Center, saying the staff were all really nice. They often encouraged him when he practiced walking down the hallways. Whenever I had questions about his progress, the nurse scheduled a meeting with me so we could discuss everything and all my questions were answered. When I visited him, we met in the nice green garden outside, which is a very nice touch, so much nicer than him saying inside all the time. Residents are allowed to go outside into the garden with fresh air. The physical therapy was super helpful, I m”
“This place is fantastic! We recently were able to visit when they had a magician performing and the front yard area was decorated for the event. Staff were dressed up celebrating the 80's day. They make it a fun environment. They even gave gifts to all the residents, and it wasn't even a holiday! My uncle is so happy here and says his food is always good and the staff really care. I recommend you send you loved ones here. Thank you to the staff who care for him and keep him entertained! You guys are our heroes!”

“I never write reviews but this place deserves one. This quaint convalescent care center is awesome, after months looking for a facility, I was amazed by this sweet oasis located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley (conveniently located right by the 118 & 405) Nurses here are compassionate and highly knowledgeable they were able to answer all my questions from the get go. The place is super clean too!!!”
“My wife of 76 years old broke her hip and after her hospital stay she transferred to Granada Hills Convalescent Hospital. Her care was very good and the staff was pleasant and easy to work with. The therapist has been there a long time and is very good. I would recommend this facility.”
“I don't write a lot of reviews, but can definitely recommend Granada Hills Convalescent Home. My elderly father had a medical emergency and nearly died. After a few days in ICU at the hospital he stabilized and needed to go to a rehab center. Luckily we found this one. Don't let the older buildings scare you away. The care givers are excellent there, and seemed to actually care about my father. he told me many times all of the staff were nice and encouraging in his recovery. The physical therapy made a big difference, and he was able to walk again by the time we took him home a few weeks later. I was really appreciative of the care he received and ended up purchasing a thank you gift of nice chocolates for the staff. A few years ago my father stayed at a much fancier looking place a couple miles away. But he said his stay in Granada Hills Convalescence was better and he liked it better. It has a nice garden area where patients can be visited instead of having to stay inside all the tim”

“When you have to place a loved one in a skilled nursing home it is a tough decision and you do not have much time to act. My mom fractured her pelvis in a fall and need to go to a nursing facility for recovery. At first I thought I made the wrong choice, because the entrance is not attractive. But, this is a great facility. The staff is very caring and the facility is extremely clean. My mom was there for about 6 weeks. I visited her 6 days a week and really got to know the staff and residents. They provided very good care. I would like to acknowledge her PT, Anil, he was great, head nurse Laura and all the nursing staff, housekeeping, kitchen staff and maintenance. They were all great. If you must go down this path with a loved one I highly recommend Granada Hills Car Center.”
